Calling all those who crochet! On April 9th at 7:00 P.M., Nat Van Oort will be teaching all those who are interested in learning how to make sleeping mats for the homeless out of plastic grocery bags. This is a great way to help others from the comfort of your couch on your own time! You are asked to bring along the following if you have them: Large crochet hooks (size M, O, P), rotary cutters & a mat to cut on, and any extra plastic grocery bags you have. If you are not a crocheter but would still like to be a part of this, bag cutters are also needed (and are just as important in this process). Nat will also be teaching anyone interested in how to properly cut and tie these bags on the same night. Any questions can be directed to the Library at 712-476-5651.
