Rockhampton is the place to be during Beef Week 2018. With the Showgrounds bustling with cattle and business, take time out for yourself at Rockhampton Art Gallery.

These special Beef Week Wine and Watercolour workshops invite complete beginners to experiment with painting scenes inspired by this renowned event. Each two-hour workshop will see you take home your own completed watercolour artwork.

So come along, meet new people and enjoy a relaxing painting class accompanied by a glass of wine. Bring your friends or come by yourself, you will have a great time and take home your own Beef Week-inspired artwork.

Price: $35 per session | $30 Friends [includes materials, qualified arts educator, accompanied by wine]

About the Tutor

Nellie Lovegrove is a graphic designer, painter and printmaker whose work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions. Her Lino print was chosen to be in the Bayton Award 2017 exhibition.

Nellie's work is distinctive for the use of Persian motifs in her compositions as well as her intricate details. She is passionate about creating new things and loves the multiplication of joy through group workshops with different ages.

Nellie is a fun, warm and welcoming tutor who will make you feel comfortable, whether you're a complete beginner or a confident artist.
