Out-and-back 6 mile trail race to benefit Friends of Rocky Fork State Park. This is a State of Franklin Track Cub event that is part of the trail series. The course consists of old logging roads. This is one of Tennessee's newest state parks. It is a gorgeous place to explore! So come experience the beautiful Rocky Fork!

Race begins at 8am. A 3 hour time limit will be in place but it is only 6 miles, so that is doable even if you are hiking. The race route will Start and End at the Rocky Fork Trailhead. Runners/walkers/hikers will travel along the Rocky Fork Trail before ascending up the White Oak Flats Trail. After ascending approximately 0.7-miles to reach the elevation of 3,000-ft, will travel following this contour to the Headwaters Trail to cross over the pristine Rocky Fork Creek. At the end of the Headwaters Trail will turn-around and head back the same route to reach the Rocky Fork Trailhead.

In the Market for some new trail runners? You’re in luck! Mahoney’s and Salomon have partnered up to provide a shoe demo for runners to try out a new pair on race day and maybe win a free pair Salomon shoes! Come check it out!
