Learn the basics of sewing on a machine. This is a great class for newbies or anyone who needs a refresher.
Participants required to bring their own supplies.


Supplies needed:
Sewing machine (Some are available to use upon request)
Foot pedal and cord
Sewing machine manual
Sewing machine needles
Bobbin case
Thread
Straight pins/pincushion
Scissors
Hand sewing needles
Seam Ripper
Seam Gauge
Measuring tape
Thimble (optional)
Disappearing ink pen/tailors chalk/ fabric marker
Empty 3 ring binder for handouts and samples


Week 1 and 2
Supplies for week 1 and 2 will be provided by instructors (pizza pillow, bookmark, pincushion, etc.)

Week 3
Fabric for either pants or boxers – We will discuss in class before you purchase your fabric

Week 4
Teddy bear and or pillow case- We will discuss in class before you purchase your fabric

2 hr. sessions - $24 / $26 nonresident
