Class descriptions:

Sivananda Yoga

To start the day, we'll do a sample Sivananda Yoga session, with breathing exercises and 10 rounds of sun salutations. An active and rejuvenating practice!

Hatha Yoga

An hour of gentle yoga postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama), ending with 10 minutes of savasana relaxation and a heart warming mantra (chant).

This gentle Hatha class is suitable for students of all levels, including beginners and pregnant women.

Yoga for Kids

A traditional Hatha class allowing the younger ones to experience the authentic yoga experience in a developmentally tailored session suitable for their age. A 45-minute practice suitable for children and teens of ages 5-15 years. The session will introduce children to the yoga philosophy by practicing the Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and Mantras (chanting). Calmness, serenity, creativity, focus and flexibility are some of the benefits of this practice.

Yin Yoga

What happens, in our bodies and minds, when we are still?

Yin yoga is an exploration of stillness. Slow, meditative, and deeply calming, it is an antidote to life in a big city. We will relax into a series of simple postures on the floor and begin to observe the internal feelings and sensations that arise. The muscles relax, the connective tissues stretch, and the energy flows, encouraging deep release.

Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a long time, everyone is welcome.

Yoga Nidra

A guided visualization. All you need to do is lie down on your back for 50 minutes, eyes closed, and listen to the instructions. This powerful practice will help you to disconnect from your external environment, deepen your awareness, and release accumulated tensions. No experience necessary - all levels are welcome.
