Satyananda Yoga System of Yoga for children have over 45 years of experience in teaching and research all around the world – We can firm globally nowadays most of all Yoga for Children Training Courses are based in the Satyananda Yoga practices and results of these researches.

This Capsule is designed to give a short and effective training to Yoga teachers and professionals to work with Yoga for children in various areas of child demand: schools, clinics, nurseries and living spaces. Through the simple transmission of the teachings of Yoga adapted to the child it is possible to learn the way to teach them properly and understand the aim to teach yoga to children.

These teachings have been disclosed by Swami Satyananda methodology adapted to the child to foster the growth and introduction of a healthy practice in the routine of children, allowing them to create positive Samskaras (mental imprints) since early age with the purpose to give them more positive tools to manage their life in the present and future moments.

Yoga starts at the age of 7 - +. Just as we don't go to school as adults, but as children. The growth and development of the child can be balanced and monitored with yoga practice on a regular basis. It is at the age of 7, research has shown, that the pineal gland starts to atrophy. To prolong and somewhat prevent the pineal gland from atrophying yoga practices are introduced to children. When the soft spot closes in the head, it is then that yoga practices are introduced to children, which is generally around the age of 7 or 8.

For all those with genuine interest to become a Children Yoga Teacher, Yoga Pura Vida NGO will host in Dar Es Salaam –Tanzania – the first Satyananda Yoga Teacher Training Course “Yoga for Children” from 31 of August till 4 of September of 2018.
