Rodger Montgomery will grace our stage once again at Room 33 this Friday performing the Blues – Country, Chicago, Piedmont – as well as old time country music, 70s folk and classic rock.
Rodger has been playing the blues since starting his career with the Zipper City Blues Band - featuring Dave Steele, Dennis Wieland, and Brian Whitney. In 1992, he formed the Rodger Montgomery Blues Band and the rest is history. Along the way he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Johnny (Clyde) Copeland, Otis Rush and spent a year in the trenches playing with Big Jack Johnson and the Oilers, Lonnie Shields, and John Brim. In 1993, he released the critically acclaimed Album Rodger Montgomery Blues Band - which has been heard all over the world.
