Rose Valley Chorus & Orchestra is pleased to announce the upcoming production of our spring 2018 show, "The Drowsy Chaperone." Performances will be held April 12, 13 & 14 at 8 pm and April 14 & 15 and 2 pm at Strath Haven Middle School

The Drowsy Chaperone, a fictitious 1928 musical comedy, is a magical piece of meta-theatre and playful, heartfelt parody of the 1920s musical comedy. The show features a chirpy jazz age
score by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, and a lively, clever book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, both of which were Tony winners in 2006. The score boasts such tunes as the scenery-chomping “Show Off”, the sizzling and silly “I Am Aldolpho”, as well as the“Toledo Surprise” and “As We Stumble Along”.

Tickets purchased in advance are $17 for adults, $14 for senior citizens and students, $7 for children (12 and under) and $12 for groups of 10 or more.

Stage direction is by Larry Jansen with musical direction by Justin Adams. For a cast list and more information or to purchase tickets, see our website www.rvco.org.
