LUXURY STRANGER

Drawing on the darkness of post-punk and cold wave, the theatre of 70s glam (Bowie/Eno/Reed/Pop), the commerciality of 80s and 90s UK indie and the rough edge power of 90s American 'grunge', Luxury Stranger is a cross-genre kind of band - creating music that can be appreciated by most music lovers and not easily put into a box.

Luxury Stranger is considered to be artistically 'Jekyll and Hyde' - a methodical architect in the studio and a passionate powerful monster on the stage.

OH WELL, GOODBYE

Oh well, Goodbye are a five-piece band from Liverpool, England who initially burst onto the UK music scene with their debut EP, ‘BG092’. The release was overseen by cult U.S label Bleeding Gold Records, which later forged a gateway for the band, releasing several EP’s after that.

Oh Well, Goodbye originated from the concept of a solo project. Philip Rourke (founder of EDILS records/booking) quickly assembled like minded musicians and played a scattering of shows in London, Manchester and various other locations around England throughout several tours. Oh Well, Goodbye, completed by Sam Banks (Bass), Adam Burns (Guitar), Connor O’Donnell (Keys & Guitars) & Andy Fernihough (Drums) have continued to push creative boundaries as a unit, whilst fully maintaining their Lo-Fi DIY, post-punk roots.

THURSDAY 10TH MAY - FROM 7.30PM-11.00PM.
