On Monday April 9, 7:00-8:00 pm, Ferndale author, Donald Levin, will talk about his fourth novel in the Martin Press mystery series, The Forgotten Child, published in 2017. This latest entry in Levin’s mystery series finds now-retired police detective Martin Press on a search for a young man who disappeared forty years ago. Consumed with finding the forgotten child, Press looks for the answer in key events in local history as well as in the countercultural fervor of Detroit in the 1970s – and plunges into hidden worlds of guilty secrets and dark crimes that won’t stay buried.
This series began with Crimes of Love, published in 2011, and continued with The Baker’s Men in 2014 and Guilt in Hiding in 2016. Levin is working on the fifth book in the series. Copies of The Forgotten Child will be available for purchase and signing.
