RVCD is seeking volunteers to assist with planting native vegetation on Ramshorn Creek as part of a restoration project in the Tobacco Root Mountains. We are looking for volunteers for April 13th and 14th.
We are also looking for volunteers to help set up two induced meandering structures in Ramshorn Creek on 4/26-4/28.
We will be meeting in Sheridan at the USDA office (Address: 402 S Main St, Sheridan, MT 59749) at 10 a.m. and carpool to the site and finish around 4 p.m. Volunteers should bring plenty of water, lunch, work gloves, extra layers, rain gear, and footwear appropriate for working in and around streams such as muckboots or hip boots. Workday scheduling is flexible but based on volunteer response. Please let us know if you cannot make it until later in the day, or are planning on leaving early.
Please email Claudia Macfarlane at email@example.com if you are interested in attending, would like more information, or will need additional work gear. Please feel free to forward this to any interested parties!
