The Extreme Indoor Enduro is an annual event that brings Black Hills trail riding indoors and is a test of skill and endurance on a challenging obstacle course. Dirt bike and ATV riders maneuver a course of logs, rocks, trees and other hazards and surprises – water, tires, over/under bridge, ramps, stairs, railroad tracks, etc.- that push their ability and stamina to the limit. No two tracks are the same from year to year.
The enduro course was constructed inside the Central States Fairgrounds Event Center the first three years the event was held in Rapid City, and it moved to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in January 2008 to a crowd of about 3,000. The 2012 Extreme Indoor Enduro was covered by the SPEED channel’s “Lucas Oil… On The Edge” series, and highlights aired during different episodes throughout 2012.
