"Wonder" is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio. The film follows a child with Treacher Collins syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by deformities of the ears, eyes, cheekbones, and chin, as he tries to fit in. It was nominated for Best Makeup and Hairstyling at the 90th Academy Awards.
