S.A.T (Special Applications Training) classes are scheduled monthly at the IAW Berkeley.
It integrates the most practical aspects of the four IAW WingChun forms, the weapon strategies of IAW Escrima and specialized IAW Combat training. S.A.T serves martial artists as training which helps them break free from the limitations of fighting sport. It also allows untrained non-athletes to gain a self-defense capability.
We train effective self-defense applications without a specific sequence or any limitations. The program includes unarmed applications, defense and use of a stick, knife, palm-stick, and tonfa, as well as control and locking technique.
You may want to bring the following equipment required for S.A.T training:
Stick (Rattan, 24.5 inch)
Knee, Elbow and Shin Protection
