My name is Alex and I will be your liaison to the often overlooked culture and
habitats of fairies. Fairies are an illusive bunch and are quite particular about their surroundings, which is one of the reasons we don’t see them as we once did. In this course you will be given the opportunity to construct a fairy dwelling; learn what I know of fairy history, culture, and habitat; as well as be pushed to see your surroundings with new eyes.
Many different materials will be provided, but you are strongly encouraged to bring materials you would like to see in your fairy’s home design. I, myself, tend to use mostly items collected in nature or repurposed things from the local dump, but anything works! Think about “who your fairy is and where they would like to live?”
Things we will cover are:
● Do(s) and don’t(s) when collecting materials
● The process
● Tool intro and safety
● Different types of fairy dwellings
● Fairy home intention
● Material prep
● Proper construction tech
● Fairy History and Culture

This event is for friends of all ages and abilities. Friends who are younger or may need extra help are asked to attend with adult supervision.
