Join Kim Lemmons as she introduces you to this system of opening the fascia lines in the body to improve your yoga practice as well as everyday life. Pralaya Yoga, developed by Robert Boustany, is innovative, insightful, evolutionary, cutting-edge yoga. This system of yoga and breathwork was created to support joint longevity and increase energy levels by maximizing the activation of muscles, organs, and energy systems. It applies an academic approach to evolving traditional yoga techniques with the aim of addressing health and wellness issues due the modern lifestyle.
Kim received her 300 hour yoga certification in Pralaya Yoga in February 2018 and her 200 hour certification in Samdhanna Yoga with Melody White in June 2014. Kim chose to study these two forms of yoga because they complement each other, as both are designed to open up the energetic lines of the body. Kim was drawn to Pralaya yoga after attending a workshop with Robert discussing common injuries and how to rehabilitate and prevent them.
Pralaya yoga was instrumental in helping Kim heal from a labral tear in her hip. Most importantly Pralaya Yoga has taught her how to build strength in the areas that were weak to move forward with a pain free life. Kim's personal philosophy is to focus with breath to get the most out of each class both physically and emotionally.
