An inversion is any moment the head sits below the heart. This act sends divine essence, or ojas, back into the brain to balance multiple systems in the body.
This 2-hour workshop will explore breakdowns of the biomechanics involved in practicing postures anywhere from downward facing dog to handstand. Breakdowns will include preparatory movements, alignment technique, and safety in propping. Expect a 45-minute energizing warm-up flow with a breakdown of over 10 inversions and arm balances: crow pose, wheel, headstand, and more!
