**This class takes place over 4 evenings: Mon/Wed 6:15-9:15PM EST**
Are you a Footwear Designer who needs to learn to create computer technical sketches or add color, texture and shadow to your hand drawn sketches? Then, this class is for YOU!
Learn the basics of both Photoshop and Illustrator, and how to use the two programs in the fashion footwear industry.
We show you all you need to know to transfer and translate your designs into the computer!
Plus, you'll receive a manual, sketch libraries, semi-private classes (for more attention) and two online makeup sessions, if needed!
Class will cover all of the following topics:
• photoshop and illustrator basics (tools, palettes, workspace)
• using basic shapes
• filling sketches with color, pattern and texture
• using the pen tool to draw detailed and precise sketches
. . . and more!!
Students receive all of the following:
• a manual with tutorials and notes from the class
• a graphic resource CD (download) with trim, sketch & brush libraries
• two online makeup sessions (up to 2 hours), if needed
** Students are responsible for contacting instructor to schedule makeup sessions. Sessions must be scheduled within 1 week of missed class.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Be sure you bring a valid ID to get into the building.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venue is easily accessible by mass transit. If you are driving, there are several parking lots nearby as well.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You may bring a pen or pencil to take notes, and a notebook, if you'd like. You will receive a manual to keep so you can take notes on that as well. We do not allow audio or video taping of any kind.
What is the refund policy?
Limited seating in all classes. Fees are non-refundable. If a class is missed, students can arrange to participate in the next session. Students must arrange to reschedule within 2 months. "No shows" may not reschedule a session. Any cancellations within 48 hours of class start date are considered a "no show".
