Session 3: 14:00-15:00 - tea. Session 4: 15:30-16:30.

The day will be run by students of Lama Jampa Thaye, the Spiritual Director of the Sakya Buddhist Centre. We will use
the instructions for meditation given in his book ‘Diamond Sky: A Brief Introduction to the Buddhist Path’. This book
provides a profound, step-by-step introduction to Buddhist meditation, including the practice of calm-abiding, where
we learn to settle the mind until it rests naturally in stillness – a prerequisite for developing insight and wisdom.
