Saturday, April 21st, 9am - 2pm Sallal Grange hosts the SnoValley Safety Expo!

Join Eastside Fire & Rescue, local CERT, NorCom (our 911 provider), the Red Cross, and the Forest Service for fun and education!

Food, safety related prizes, & fun are on tap, with presentations at 9:30, 10:45, noon and 1:15.

There'll be a kid's area with activities, booths with information for you and your family, fire truck, a fire extinguisher station (bring your extinguisher for testing and see demonstrations), and more!
We'll also be collecting food and donations for the Snoqualmie Valley Food bank.

Learn how to prepare for emergencies, and how to stay safe, and have fun doing it!

The US Department of Forestry will be on hand to give tips on hiking safety. The Grange is close to the Little Si trail, so you can test out your newly learned knowledge right away!

Learn about CERT, and how to be CERT certified (it's easier than you think!). See what supplies are needed for your Emergency Kit for your home, and what supplies are needed for a neighborhood.

There will be demonstrations and information on what to do in case of fire, earthquakes, floods (but probably not zombie outbreaks), and how to safely turn off the gas to your home and how to safely turn it back on. And when that's necessary, and when it isn't a good idea.

Find out what to say and not say if you need to call 911 for adults and kids. Kids can learn how to protect themselves and their families in playful ways.

Planning saves Lives - Planning Prevents Panic - Information on how to help neighborhoods organize and set up emergency plans will be given. How to create an exit plan for family and pets in various situations.

Also we'll be raffling off two tickets to a concert with Tinkham Road, on Saturday, June 23, 2018. They'll bring their locally inspired music to the Sallal Grange stage, along with stories and theatrics.

Frankie's Pizza and home baked goods and refreshments will be available.

If you'd like to donate to our bake sale (yum!), just drop it off at the Grange. If you'd like to help out (fun!) just email Info@SallalGrange.org, we can always use more volunteers!
