NOW IT’S APRIL 2nd WE CAN ADMIT AFTER LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF ENQUIRIES FROM AROUND THE UK, THIS WAS AN APRIL FOOLS JEST AND THERE IS NO EVENT....ALTHOUGH WE DO WISH WE COULD WATCH 3 PAIRS OF CANINE COUPLES DANCING ON STAGE, ALAS IT WAS ALL A SEASONAL HOAX!!
BEFORE WE DELETE THE EVENTS JUST WANTED TO POST FIRST AS WE’RE GETTING SO MANY MESSAGES ABOUT THIS STILL, WHICH WE LOVE....
Pet Lovers...and you know we are at SalSeduce, this is the news you’ve been waiting for....SalSePooch has arrived!! (Thanks Ady)
Is your Pooch the next Jennifer LoPaws or Anton DuBark
After so much encouragement we’ve decided to give in and go for it, and it’s going to be brilliant.
With help and expertise from world renowned international dog dance trainers, local trainers and dog owners, SalSeduce has decided to follow our passion for dogs and create the North East’s first dog Salsa team for little pooches.
We will be bringing in experts from the US to help develop our dogs coordination and musical timing. They will work individually with each dog in our team to train them to move to the clave Rhythm both on all fours and on hind legs.
Our team will consist of 6 dogs (3 couples)....and perform at the Black Swan and SalSabado later in the year. If nothing else they’ll have fun and learn new dancing skills.
All you need is a willing canine salsa dancer, patience and bucket load of dog treats
This is an incredible opportunity for your best friends to work with some of the best, most creative and innovative trainers in the world. Learning new skills and tracks, moving to Latin music and dancing alongside other new friends.
We are so passionate about dogs at SalSeduce that we have done weeks of research and tried to speak to many people from various authorities to ensure this is sanctioned by the NSPCA and PETA. All our trainer methods may fall within their guidelines for animal welfare.
If you love the thought of your fluffy pet learning a Mambo, spinning and shaking their booty to high energy Latin rhythms...then we are holding auditions in Newcastle.
The breed or size of dog does not matter our experts have worked with all. It all depends on their personality. We may pair a Pomeranian with a Burmese Mountain dog or Scotty with a Shitzu it depends on them.
Remember Britain’s Got Talent champions Ashley and Pudsey....you probably won’t look like them. You must have heard of Crufts...yes well you most likely won’t get into any shortlist, but you may uncover a talent your canine companion has and have fun training together then pride when you watch them perform on stage with other dog.
But whatever the outcome you’ll certainly have lots of fun with your canine companion as you both learn the art of Salsa dancing.
