Walk through Palestine with Nederland Local Rae Abileah
~~ Politics, Peace & People ~~
* 6:15-7:15 Presentation
* 7:15-7:30 Q&A
* 7:30-7:45 Mingle & Middle Eastern Suprise

Join us for an evening of travel stories and transparency about what’s going on in Palestine & Israel.

You may know Rae Abileah from behind Salto's counter. But did you know that she is also a political action trainer, social change strategist, and an advocate for economic, environmental, and racial justice?

During this talk, Rae will share her recent experiences in November co-leading a diverse delegation of Americans through the West Bank. This group of 22-81 year olds journeyed there to witness human rights violations and to meet with people dedicated to pursuing peace and justice against all odds.

Rae will discuss the roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while pointing the way to change and reconciliation. We hope you'll walk away feeling more empowered with knowledge and tools to take action.

Her beautiful photos will share stories of the Middle East coffee culture as well.
