Learning to Go with the Flow - A Mindfulness and Yoga Flow Workshop
For all levels
This 2 and a half hour practice will start with a slow and steady vinyasa flow yoga practice moving from seated poses to standing poses, forward bends and backward bends to warm up the mussels and strengthen the spine and prepare the body for a sitting practice.
The second half of the practice we will explore the theme of the workshop and how a mindfulness practice can help us of the mat to surf the waves of life and learn to go with the flow of what is arising in our lives daily which so often we cannot control.
Often its our reaction to whats arising that causes the most suffering, we can see more clearly and disentangle ourselves more through a practice of observing rather than constant reaction.
This workshop is a gentle introduction to mindfulness and how it can help with daily challenges.
We will end our workshop with some restorative yoga to allow the body and mind to deeply restore.
