Samford Harvest [Autumn] is an opportunity to celebrate local produce from in and around the Samford Valley.
Guests are invited to share a table and enjoy snacks and a three course meal at the Samford Farmers' Hall. The menu is thoughtfully created and prepared by chef & Samford local Alastair McLeod utilising hand sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Throughout the evening, the farmers and growers whose produce features in the dinner will speak about their craft, giving guests a greater insight into the ingredients. All profits from the evening will be donated to Millen Farm, Samford's community owned and run market garden.
Dinner will be held at the Samford Farmers' Hall in Samford Village. The hall has been a hub for all types of Samford celebrations for 100 years. The weatherboard building was transported from Lutwyche and erected on its current site after a group of local farmers saw the need for such a venue in the village. It provides an historic and fitting backdrop for a celebration of the Samford harvest in 2018.
