Wish to discover the natural medicines you can find in any home kitchen?
Our kitchen is an abundant source of effective and safe medicines for many different diseases. Our spice cabinet contains valuable medicines that can help you deal with a wide range of problems and illnesses, such as skin burns, digestive problems, migraines, diabetes and many more.
Ayurveda - "Knowledge of Life" - is a holistic medicine system, with thousands of years of experience. One of it's main tools for maintaining health and fighting diseases is nutrition. The quality of your food and its suitability for you have a huge impact on your health and vitality. Your Nutrition can very easily be upgraded to be a healing tool, simply by adding spices and herbs common in your home kitchen.
In this workshop we will explore and discover the healing properties of various items which most of us have in our spice cabinets and kitchens: turmeric, cumin, garlic, honey, lime, ghee and many more.
We will get to know the unique language of Ayurveda, which enables to understand how different materials affect our bodies.
We will learn a variety of ways to use these common spices and foods for the purpose of healing diseases, strengthening physical and mental resilience and improving the quality of life.

In this workshop you will:
~ Learn the main qualities of spices and their mechanism of action in our bodies.
~ Understand basic principles that will guide and help you to choose the spices and foods that are right for you.
~ Learn the preferred methods of processing and consuming these herbs, minerals and foods.
~ Receive a booklet of effective and simple recipes for the alleviation of specific diseases.

Join us for an informative workshop about the natural pharmacy that you can find within your spice cabinets.

* This is the 3rd of a series of 2 classes (Introduction to Ayurveda) and a workshop. Each session can be attended separately, or, if you wish to delve in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, you are welcome to attend all.

About the facilitator

Tal has completed her 3 years Ayurveda studies in Israel, and in the past 4 years she have been living and treating people according to its principles.
In addition, she have a university degree in psychology and worked with people who have special needs, such as schizophrenics, persons suffering from difficult psychedelic experiences, and women with eating disorders.
She have been studying and teaching yoga for the past 8 years and dancing my entire life, working with the body as a means for communication, healing, relaxation and expression.
