Make History! Change History! Mark Leno Mayor is an independent dynamic evolving repository and digital archive of photos, videos and news releases chronicling Leno’s campaign to claim his rightful seat in Room 200 of San Francisco City Hall.
Leno filed to run for Mayor in May of 2017 and was first out the gate to file for the June 5, 2018 Special Election held in the wake of the untimely death of Mayor Ed Lee.
Leno began his career as a community activist, rising like a star to become an elected member of the city Board of Supervisors and State Assembly. In 2008 he became the first gay man elected to the California State Senate. Leno’s career is most noteworthy for the loyal friends, supporters and political allegiances he has forged in two decades of public service.
