Join TRT’s Policy Director Peter Drekmeier for an update on the status of the Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan. The State Water Resources Control Board is proposing steps for restoring the health of the SF Bay Delta, which has been in severe decline for decades. The Plan includes increasing the amount of freshwater that flows into the Delta from the Tuolumne (the water source for much of the Bay Area), the Mokelumne, the San Joaquin, and other tributaries. Many water agencies, including here in the Bay Area, oppose the state agency’s proposal. Come with questions and learn how you can take action to help the Delta.
