Lunch & Learn is in collaboration with the San Francisco Embroiderer's Guild of America.
Taking place during the noon hour on the third Wednesday of each month of 2018, this series will offer up a mix of informative lectures, interactive presentations, and short workshops. Each week will offer a different speaker or small project presented from our local community. This series is dedicated to promoting and showcasing the many talented needleworkers in the Bay Area. Bring your lunch–and learn something new! Each L&L is $10.
In April, San Francisco EGA Guild Members will be introducing three kinds of fabrics for cross stitch! President Christine Tanabe will present stamped cross stitch, Celia Riskin will talk about cross stitch on Aida cloth, and Joy DePaola will present counted cross stitch on linen. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of these three fabrics and how they interact with embroidery!
