Here is the menu for Monday, April 9th!

Hanloh! About the menu: I recommend pairing Khao yum with lemongrass wings or spring rolls to make it a full meal. Khao yum is our new dish, best known in the Southern part of Thailand. "Nam budu" is basically unfiltered fermented fish sauce--but please do not be frightened! I have to modify the recipe by using shrimp paste and fish sauce combination which are considerably much less funky. Afterward, the dressing is simmered down even more with a generous amount of herbs ( makrut leaves, galangal, etc.), tamarind concentrate, and palm sugar. In short, the "funk" is almost fully eliminated at this point. If you are still worried, ask for the vegan dressing :)

Here is the menu for Monday, March 26th!

We have made Khao Soi many times, however, this one is a little different. We discovered a recipe from Chiang Mai University Library in Thailand and wanted to try it out. For example, we omit galangal in this curry but added a lot more ginger, fingerroot, and a bit of makrut citrus. Come try it out and let us know what you think!

Khao soi noodle bowl | ข้าวซอย: housemade curry, egg noodles, pickled mustard green, red onions, chili oil, lime, top sirloin (contains shrimp paste)$15 or mushrooms $13
