New to Yoga, start here, for people of all ages who are beginners in Yoga and want to start a regular practice.
If you already have some yoga experience and need to deepen your knowledge, this course is for you!
You will learn the basics of traditional Hatha Yoga, the health benefits of yoga asanas (postures)
and pranayama (breathing exercises) and the positive effect on body, mind and emotions,
building a foundation for a solid practice, emphasizing on the 5 points, proper exercise,
breathing, relaxation, diet and positive thinking and meditation.
The course includes:
Introduction to Yoga philosophy
Basic breathing exercises
Guided relaxation techniques
Introduction to the 12 basic asanas of the Sivananda sequence and variations.
The program is divided into a series of progressive classes over 2 week-ends, each of which
provides a balanced yoga session that leaves students feeling relaxed and full of energy.
At the end of the course, you will be ready to join the Hatha Yoga Open class.
