Savannah Blinds is getting a new home. The company is set to open the area’s first window treatment designer showroom. The new showroom (near the iconic Old Globe) will feature innovative industry products.

“We partner with names like Hunter Douglas to ensure our customers get the best,” says Nikki Petitt, co-owner of Savannah Blinds. She and her husband Morgan took over the company after Morgan’s step father, Danny Williams, passed in 2012. “Continuing the legacy is something we felt was important. Plus, we love the work,” says Morgan.

What began as one man and one van has grown to six employees, four vehicles and an impressive array of products including blinds, shutters, shades, window films and awnings. Window treatment installs are available for boats and yachts too.

Growth and new product technology made the new location a necessity. The new showroom will spotlight the future of window coverings. Featured products include blinds, shutters, shades and awnings that can raise or retract automatically. These products work by either linking up with the Weather Channel website or via a smartphone app. In summary Nikki says, “As young business owners, we want to make sure our company is on the leading edge of product innovation. Our showroom will reflect that.”

Savannah Blinds is a full service window covering installation business serving Savannah and the Low Country area.
