Presented by Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, the ninth annual Night of Champions is an inspiring gala dinner highlighting exceptional contributions made by people with different abilities in their respective workplaces.
According to the National Down Syndrome Congress, as many as 80% of adults with Down syndrome are unemployed. Low expectations and a lack of understanding contribute to this sad statistic. LDSS hopes to reverse this trend by highlighting the successes of employees.
The event is hosted by Jamie Deen and Allyson Wingate Harvin, features a cocktail hour with online/mobile silent auction, includes music, dinner, and improves the quality of life for *everyone* in Savannah.
