Join SCAD alumni and Washington, D.C. design duo Lauren Winter (B. Arch., 2000) and Brian Miller (B. Arch., 2000; B.F.A., architectural history, 2000) as they offer an inside look at the business of hospitality design.

As founders of the Edit Lab at Streetsense, Winter and Miller curate the dining and living experience at the hottest spots in the nation’s capital. Together, they’ve designed more than 60 projects, including The Dabney, Daikaya, Columbia Room, Tail Up Goat and The Apollo, each with a distinct approach.

Winter and Miller often travel with clients during the research phase of their projects, and what they see, eat and learn along the way greatly shapes their practice. Together, the duo speaks with students about their process and how travel and research form the foundation of their designs.

This event is presented as part of SCADstyle 2018 and is free and open to SCAD Card holders.
