Maine Calling, an interactive radio program hosted by Jennifer Rooks, will feature three expert birders including our own Bird Ecologist Seth Benz!

BIRDING IN MAINE - Broadcasting from Schoodic Institute. This year has been declared the 'Year of the Bird' to celebrate the passage of the Migratory Bird Treaty. Hear from three expert birders about the importance of the Migratory Bird Treaty and why Maine is an ideal spot for birders.

Panelists include; Seth Benz; Jeff Wells, Senior Scientist with the Boreal Songbird Initiative and author of a number of bird conservation and exploration books; and Adrienne Leppold, Songbird Biologist for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife and Project Director of the newly minted Maine Breeding and Wintering Bird Atlas.

The public is invited to attend. Please arrive by 12:45 PM.
