Why Breath? Yes, we breathe every second, but we aren’t necessarily conscious of what muscles we are using to breathe. Our default as a culture is to breathe very shallowly, which over time can add to our stress and our mental and physical disorders. The first part of this workshop will introduce you to the healing art of breath work, ground you into your body, and teach you techniques on how to breathe properly.
The second part of this workshop will be an active meditation to release emotional blockages, and the workshop will conclude with a deep relaxing sound bath meditation with crystal bowls & singing bowls. Sylvia Salcedo is a board certified Acupuncturist and holistic health coach. As a facilitator of breath + sound work and an energy medicine healer, she is known for her intuitive approach to wellness.
