🌿🍃 Spring is here, let's celebrate! Enjoy a live painting at Schwendermarkt AND pick up some sweet plant life for your balcony this Friday at Balkongartenmarkt - die ganze Stadt ist unser Garten! 🌿🍃
We're joining this event with the project 'Kunst am Schwendermarkt' and LIVE PAINTING of 4*2m canvas by IUSTΔS and Markus Tozzer!
The 'Kunst am Schwendermarkt' project started in 2017 and will continue through 2018 with 3 new artworks that will be hung on Mariahilferstraße next to Schwendermarkt.
This collaborative project with LANDKIND and Schwendermarkt is supported by the head of the district Gerhard Zatlokal and the Marktamt (MA59).
Markus Tozzer is a painter living and working in Vienna. After studying fine arts at the University of Applied Arts he focused on writing music and painting while building up a creative agency with his friends.
He enjoys assembling digital pictures, made from photos and found images, as well as animating digital drawings. In such compositions, landscapes or human body parts emerge, which are rearranged and modified in a painting manner; overlapping layer upon layer.
His painted works are motivated by inner challenges and basic questions of his human experience. Contrary to those painted works, he uses the digital realm to experiment and to pay homage to lighter works and topics that are also used in pop culture, not fearing the silly and senseless.
