Have you always wanted to see how UN institutions work? Do you want to discover Den Haag, one of the biggest cities in the Netherlands? Do you want to know how international war crimes trials work?
Then come with us to Den Haag on April 25th! We will visit the International Palace of Peace, home of the International Court of Justice (for conflicts between countries), also host to the biggest academic library in the Netherlands, and the International Criminal Court, where war criminals are judged. We will most likely have the opportunity to attend the hearing of Dominic Ongwen, responsible for crimes committed in Ouganda. We will finish the day with some free time in the cute city center of the city!
