Experience the beautiful tradition of the Japanese tea ceremony, or Chanoyu (茶の湯) in this collaboration with the East-West Chanoyu Center!

Instructors with years of training will teach you all about the culture surrounding Chanoyu through a narrated demonstration. You'll then be served tea and Wagashi, Japanese traditional sweets.

To sign up, stop by the JSA table on Red Square BY THIS THURSDAY to reserve your spot! We're there every weekday from 10:30 to 2:30.

If you can't make it to our table, Venmo JSA (@jsauw) with your payment and send a screenshot of the payment page to us messaging the JSA Facebook page or emailing us at jsa@uw.edu.

We're providing a limited number of seats, so sign up ASAP! The deadline for sign-up is April 12th at 2:30pm.
