The construction trade is Alaska's third largest industry, paying the second highest wages, and employing more than 16,000 workers with a payroll over $1 billion. The industry is a large reflection of how the economy is changing and therefore it is essential to keep building and repairing necessary infrastructure laying the groundwork for the future.
