Preview Pacific Symphony's Carnegie Hall debut and celebrate Indian music, dance, and cuisine! Enjoy food, friends, and sounds of Philip Glass & Ravi Shankar as performed by Pacific Symphony, Pacific Chorale, and sitar queen Anoushka Shankar.

4pm – Indian Feast & Reception
$50/person

Come ready to mingle and feast on a spread of traditional Indian delights! We’re beginning our celebrations in the beautiful fountain courtyard of Royal Khyber where wine, mango lassis, and exciting chicken, lamb, fish, and vegetarian dishes await!

6:30pm – Indian Music and Dance

We make our way to the Argyros Plaza outside the concert hall for traditional beats and high-energy folk dances. Performers include classical Indian dance troupes and musicians as well as one of Ravi Shankar’s protégées!

8pm – Pacific Symphony feat. Anoushka Shankar

A preview of Pacific Symphony's Carnegie Hall debut! The orchestra teams with Pacific Chorale and the spellbinding Anoushka Shankar for a concert featuring music by her father, Indian icon Ravi Shankar, and modern mastermind Philip Glass!

***Glass’ “Meetings Along the Edge” – from Glass & Shankar’s collaborative album Passages
***Shankar’s “Sitar Concerto No. 3” – featuring his daughter, Anoushka Shankar, on the sitar!
***Glass’ “The Passion of Ramakrishna” – inspired by the 19th century Indian mystic, originally commissioned and premiered by Pacific Symphony
