Join us SATURDAY, APRIL 28 @ 2PM inside Sewing Souls (356 S. Elmwood Ave.) for another installment of Death Cafe Buffalo! Held in over 52 countries throughout the world, "Death Cafes" are a public meeting of the minds, where community comes together to eat cake, drink tea and chat openly about death in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
Over 6,000 Death Cafe events have been held since the first one occurred in East London in 2011!
There are many reasons people participate in death cafes. According to the DeathCafe.com website, "One objective of the Initiative is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'."
FOOD SHARE: We ask that everyone in attendance bring a snack or dish to share =) Tea will be provided.
REGISTRATION: This is a FREE event, but there is a suggested donation of $5 to help cover costs. In an effort to maintain an intimate atmosphere, attendance is limited to 25 persons :)
