On May 5th we will be conducting living history programs in the WWI trenches at Alvin York State Historic Park focusing on how in May 1918 American soldiers proved their value in the Battle of Cantigny. Visitors will be able to see the sights and sounds of WWI and experience how technology impacted the way in which the war was fought. Living history presenters will portray American, French, and German soldiers and visitors will have the opportunity to see machine-gun demonstrations, gas attacks, and what daily life looked like for soldiers on the front-lines.
