We'll be making designs on 33 rpm records! Yes, it's true. Pat Snyder recently read a periodical about a nun who made them as a meditative process. If you'd rather, you can use paper, a rock, or other material for your designs. Pat will also have some mandala designs, crayons, and colored pencils if you'd rather color.
1. A record (clean rock, wood, etc) I will have some records available for 50cents.
2. Any permanent painting pens, permanent sharpies, metallic markers, etc.
3. 1-3 brushes for acrylic paint
4. Puff paint (if you have some)
PAT WILL BRING SUPPLIES TO SHARE, TOO.
There are some interesting 33rpm designs online, if you'd like to check them out before April 18th. You don't have to do a Mandala!
PROJECT 2) BYOP BRING YOUR OWN PROJECT:
As always you can bring your own project to work on or just sit, chat, and have tea with friends. Maybe you'd like to finish one of your projects from previous parties or one that has been waiting for attention at home.
If you can't stay for the evening, you are always welcome to drop by.
If you would like more information or would like to lead a Women's Art Party activity in an upcoming month, please contact Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts at: firstname.lastname@example.org, or 608-987-3292
