"The Lost Art of Good Conversation:

A Mindful Way to Connect with others and Enrich Everyday Life”

Meditation, meditationsinstruktion, föredrag och samtal

At this Nyinthun we will explore some of techniques presented in the book as a way to deepen our connection with others and initiate confidence and trust in our ability to relate to and communicate with the people we encounter in our lives.

About the Book
In a world of iPhones and connectivity to social media and email, we are all in constant connection with one another. Then why are so many people feeling burned out, distant from colleagues, and abandoned by family and friends? In this new book from the bestselling author of Running with the Mind of Meditation, the Sakyong uses the basic principles of the Shambhala tradition—meditation and a sincere belief in the inherent wisdom, compassion, and courage of all beings—to help readers to listen and speak more mindfully with loved ones, co-workers, strangers, and even ourselves.

About the Sakyong
Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche is the head of the Shambhala lineage and the global network of more than 200 Shambhala Meditation Centers. With a unique blend of Eastern and Western perspectives, his teachings focus on living a courageous life based on wisdom, kindness and compassion. He also holds the Kagyü and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. He is the author of five books including the bestselling Turning the Mind Into an Ally, and The Lost Art of Good Conversation, coming October 17, 2017 from Harmony Books. He is a husband, father of three daughters, and avid runner. Through the Sakyong Foundation, he engages in supporting organizations and projects whose activities exemplify the Shambhala vision in Asia and the West. To learn more, visit www.sakyong.com.
