The Ethics 3-Hour Insurance Agent Continuing Education class will be covering the ethical situations that may arise on and off the job. Each and every day are faced with decisions that we make that could cause harm to others, or ourselves. Facing ethical decisions can be a very difficult, especially with the types of decisions that may seem correct at first, but we later find out were not so great. We explore Ethical Conduct, we will also challenge you to be prepared to become involved in hourly group activities. The group activities will help reinforce what we have learned, and also give us the ability to better deal with ethical decisions making in our own lives. The course will lead into many topics of discussion that will cause each of you today to truly evaluate what it is that leads you to certain decisions that you will or have made. We will discuss workplace instances that may challenge us on what we feel morally is the right thing to do. We also will explore different definitions to words that we use in conjunction with our ethical decision-making. Finally, we will discuss how the decisions affect us and those around us. We will learn what constitutes an ethical dilemma and how to deal with that ethical dilemma as it becomes an issue in the day to day functions while performing our jobs.
