BREAKING NEWS - Last minute booking:
Super fantabulousness abounds! Erstwhile hairy rock n roll groove merchants MAKER are releasing a new album, "Dead Ends and Avenues", and they are doing an "unofficial" local launch gig right here at the Ship on Friday 6th April at 9pm. The official launch is in Manchester on Sunday 8th, so this is a very special one-off local launch just for us Medwayites (and those of neighbouring boroughs).

There will be CDs and Double Gatefold Vinyl copies of the new disc available to buy on the night, so you can get your copy before it's been officially released, you lucky people! GET YOUR DANCING SHOES ON!

Described as ''ROCK N ROLL GOLD'' by 'Louder Than War', MAKER are Alessandro Marinelli (Vocals), Andrew Donaldson (Guitar), Gavin Donaldson (Drums) & John Austin (Bass) an authentic rock n roll band with a psychedelic bluesy punch, stirred with a fist full of soul.

Renown for their electric live performances, MAKER's influences range from the early blues legends through the stomping pop and soul of the sixties, to the raw power of punk.

Coming on like the love child of The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Led Zeppelin, T-Rex & Primal Scream; MAKER deliver a fresh sonic swagger defined by their own bluesy, boozy guitar riffs.

The band have headlined many of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including 100 Club London as part of ‘Best of British Blues Explosion’ 2017, supported the likes of Ocean Colour Scene, Dodgy, Wilko Johnson, The Slydigs and shared festival bills with The Cribs, Dizee Rascal, Mark Ronson, & Supergrass to name a few.

Friday 6th April 2018, 9pm, free entry!
