Appeal to Patrons of Sindhi Community

We are trying for long to connect with the sindhi youth and show them the way to Empowered Career. We are asking our sindhi youth to take up INDIAN ADMINISTATIVE SERVICES as a career choice.

In our appeal a secret is hidden.

Those who will pursue this career will not be working to get a secured government job but it is similar to Kingship.

Now everyone will think that how pursuing civil services is similar to KINGSHIP. To understand this one has to go back to the period of Monarchy.

What were the responsibilities of a king?

The king has only three responsibilities.
1. To make laws.
2. Implementation of Laws made by him through his executives.
3. Punish those who break law.

In entire history the King has only performed these three functions only.He did not have to keep accounts, others did it for him. He never worked as trader or doctor or any other professions. He did not set up industries. He delegated all these responsibilities to others. So the zist of the matter is that The King has only three responsibilities.

Now lets discuss recent history

After french revolution a new kind of government came into practice.

Democracy

In Democracy these three powers of king are not entrusted to a single person & chidren belonging to the person having these power will not get these powers automatically. In Democracy these three powers are delegated to three separate institutions & any citizen can aspire to get into these institution through separate process which are transparent and within reach of every citizen.

The power to make laws is with Parliament/state assemblies.

The power to execute the laws is with INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE or in simple terms with IAS.

And the power to punish who break the law is with Judiciary.

Now one will say that the people holding these powers are public servant.

Is a MP, MLA, IAS or a Judge a public servant in real terms. Can we treat them as a servant. No they are not. We may address them as public servent but actually they are rulers in true sense, they Govern. They possess the power of Constitution which no amount of money can supercede.

So having any of the above power is Empowerment in true sense.

We want our sindhi youth to become a Modern day king & we are creating avenues for our sindhi youth so that they could reach to that position.

Only thing required is awareness & the dream of becoming a Modern day King.

Now with the help of Sindhi Language it is relatively easy to get into Top Bureaucracy ( IAS ). We are creating the support base to achieve this dream.

Sindhi language can open doors for sindhi youth to the most powerful career available to us.The Indian Administrative Services or in short IAS.

It is our height of ignorance that we don’t know that In the entrance exam for IAS, there are two papers of sindhi language.

The entrance exam of IAS is conducted in three stages. A graduate in any stream with 50%aggregate score is eligible to appear in this exam.

This first stage is called IAS PRE and it is objective type multiple choice question paper. In this stage the candidate is tested for aptitude and for general knowledge. The syllabus covers class 6-12 school curriculum.

Those who clear this stage are eligible to appear for next stage which is of subjective type descriptive test. This stage is called IAS MAINS and total marks of this stage are 1750. This stage tests candidates for there general knowledge in various aspects of indian sociology, but again the syllabus is from class 6-12 school curriculum. This stage consists of 9 paper. Out of nine two are qualifying and there scores are not added in merit. Out of remaining seven papers two are Sindhi Language and Sindhi Literature. These two papers are of 500 marks.

Those who clear this stage are then eligible for appearing in third stage which is interview. The interview is of 275 marks.

Aggregate score of 2nd and 3rd stage is taken and usually those who score 775 or more are selected for Indian Administrative Services. According to merit they are given service choices. There are around 32 service choices.

If we look at this minutely out of total marks 1750+275=2025 sindhi has 500 marks and that is around 25%weightage. In a hugely competitive exam such as IAS where 1/2 mark can change a persons life a 25%weightage is huge.

Sindhi language is the biggest gift for sindhi youth and it can truly empower us. If through sindhi language our youth is able to get into the most powerful institution of india then there can not be any better medium of preservation and promotion of Sindhi Language.
