Madison Community Holistic Health Forum and Paint the Town Yellow Presents an evening of Learning and discussion.

Learn how you are the most important person in your healing. Our medical system is very broken, it’s focus is disease and drugs instead of healing and health. We hear more about the worst that can happen instead of encouraging self-healing possibilities.

It is our job to take care of our self and our family and reclaim health and ongoing wellness. A doctor does not live with us 24/7 nor do they know much about nutrition, movement, and natural healing. Health is our nature. Enjoy a lively talk on how you can be at the core of creating solutions and healing of body, mind, and emotions.

We look at what we can do to redirect, heal and transform our bodies into their natural alignment of perfect health. We do not ignore valid medical advice, instead, we broaden it and look for wholeness, which is the dictionary meaning of healing.

David, Kathy, and Janet have invested their lives in supporting healing for their community, patients, and clients for decades and look forward to sharing their wisdom and information tonight.

Janet StraightArrow a Medical Intuitive, Reiki Master, Shaman, and founder of Be The Medicine has studied healing focused on perfect health for fifty-years when her doctor told her she would not live long or well. Food as Medicine will be the Topic by Kathy D'Agati a nutritional counselor and coach at Back to Basic Wellness. Kathy works with food awareness and assists clients learn how to improve all areas of their lives by choosing the foods that nourish and support our mind, body, and spirit. You will learn specific foods and ways to work with what you put into your body and what you would be best to withhold from your body to achieve mental and physical health and balance in your life. Each person is unique, and their nutritional needs may be different than what is expected, and this is discussed as well.

How Movement Heals is the topic of Dr. David Beck, DC. of Life Align Chiropractic
How have you treated your body over the years? Why can’t you move like you used to and why do you hurt? How can I start to change this? These questions and more shall be answered with an overview of the physiology of movement, body development, causes of breakdown and strategies to improve and restore overall health through better motion. Age is not about limits when you keep moving and enjoying positive activities.
