Join us for the first session of the 2018 Grow St. Bernard Spring Series. You want to be a business owner? Guest speaker, Gillis McCloskey will discuss the realities of being the "boss" and the importance of sales to any company.

April 24, 2018 – Opening a Business 101!
Learn how to navigate local/state licensing and permitting, business banking, and business development resources when opening a business in St. Bernard Parish.

May 8, 2018 – Find and Grow your Market!
Who are your customers? Define your audience and learn how to reach them.

May 22, 2018 – Tax and Legal! Protect yourself and your business. Hear from a licensed CPA and tax attorney about your obligations as a small business.

Jun 5, 2018 – Small Business Panel!
Learn from the successes and setbacks of entrepreneurs and business owners doing business in St. Bernard Parish.

Jun 19, 2018 – Planning for the Future!
Business roundtable and curated discussion on challenges, opportunities, and realities of operating a business in St. Bernard Parish and Greater New Orleans.

Tuition for the program is $75 for an individual or $100 for a business staff pass. Businesses are invited to send multiple staff members. A light breakfast and coffee will be served. All seminars will take place on Tuesdays from 8:30am-10:00am at Torres Law Firm and the St. Bernard Port, Harbor, and Terminal District.
