Mind Mapping for Creatives
Wednesday, April 18th
Time: 10am - 12pm
Cost: $40, includes materials for making your Mind Map
Most creative people have so many ideas they feel like they’re going in a million directions! Mind Mapping is a system of visual outlining, that combines images and words in a form that Tony Buzan calls “radiant thinking.”
Radiant thinking starts with a center, the core of your creative idea, from which everything radiates outward. Think of a tree with a trunk and branches that radiate out, or a nerve cell with a nucleus and dendrites and axons radiating out. All organic creativity radiates from a center.
You will learn how to mind map a project (such as a book outline) or something more esoteric, like your mission and purpose in life. A wonderful tool you can use for anything to help you become more centered, purposeful, and focused while enhancing your creativity.
Laurel Clark, adult educator, past president of the School of Metaphysics, and author of The Law of Attraction and Other Secrets of Visualization, Dharma: Finding Your Soul’s Purpose, Intuitive Dreaming, and Concentration, teaches you how the conscious and subconscious minds work together in whole-minded creativity.
